Welcome to Weetangera Primary School library which houses an extensive collection of books for our students to read and explore.
Each class has a weekly library session where they can return and borrow books, discover new titles, learn about the library and read a new book. We have regularly changing displays of authors, illustrators, special days and themes to engage our readers.
The library is also open at lunchtimes for students to read, engage in a quiet activity or return/borrow books. Parents and carers are invited to visit our library with their child/ren before school (8.30am-9.00am) to read a book together or to return/borrow books.
We are developing our collection of bilingual books and parent/carers and students are encouraged to access these resources and share books in their first language. Please let us know if there are titles or languages you wish us to add to our collection.
We welcome the donation of books and are happy to accept quality books your child/ren may have outgrown.
We look forward to you visiting our vibrant and dynamic library!

Students also have access to electronic resources such as e-books and audio books. E-books and audio books can be accessed through the Sora link on the Digital Backpack https://backpack.ed.act.edu.au/ as well as through the Oliver library system (see details below) or through the Sora app https://soraapp.com/
